Thanksgiving

THANKSGIVING is celebrated across the United States and Canada during the fourth Thursday of November. It is a national holiday in the US and Canada and celebrates the autumn harvest. It is similar to the harvest festival we celebrate in the UK. (The Harvest Festival falls on the Sunday nearest to the arvest Moon, the full moon that occurs nearest to the Autumn Equinox, therefore it takes place any time between September and October).

Families get together and share food to celebrate the bounty of nature during these times.
