COLORS TV’S BIGG SAJID MISSTEP

MAKING Sajid Khan (right) a contestant on the recently launched 16th season of popular reality show Bigg Boss could well be the worst decision in Indian TV history. They have literally locked up a disgraced film director with a long list of sexual abuse allegations against him from unconnected actresses in a house with females, including teenage actress Sumbul Toqueer Khan. There was outrage at Colors TV from around the world for taking the ill-judged step and shows just how out of touch India is when it comes to women’s rights. Media, celebrities, and audiences turning a blind eye to this horrific move are only enabling future bad behaviour by men in power.
