BUSINESS mogul Elon Musk finally buying Twitter could signal some major embarrassment for Bollywood. The billionaire has openly said he wants to get rid of fake accounts on the microblogging site. This will horrify Hindi cinema stars because they are the biggest celebrity culprits when it comes to dishonesty on the site. Some have more than 90 per cent fake Twitter followers just to look more famous than they are. This has shamelessly resulted in most having many millions of bogus followers. If Musk makes good on his promise of a purge, then these stars will either get majorly embarrassed or quickly deactivate their accounts. Interestingly, Tamil and Telugu stars won’t have that problem because most don’t subscribe to the idea of fake accounts to look popular.
