AAMIR’S ACTING BREAK

BIG back-to-back box office failures Thugs Of Hindostan and Laal Singh Chaddha have prompted Aamir Khan (right) to step back from acting.

He will not star in the official Bollywood remake of Spanish film Campeones and will produce it with someone else playing the lead. Although Aamir has said the break is to spend time with his family, I’ve heard he is desperately looking for a project that will be a big success. A good starting point will be for the 57-year-old to find something age appropriate and not a copy of another film.
