Choc orange cake
Serves 1 Prep 5 mins Cook 1 mins (800W) plus standing 27p a portion 1 small medium egg 2 tbsp vegetable oil 3 tbsp milk 1 tbsp orange zest 2 tbsp marmalade 2 tbsp plain flour 1 tbsp ground almonds 1 tbsp caster sugar 3 tbsp cocoa powder ½ tsp baking powder 10g dark chocolate (85% cocoa solids), broken up into small pieces whipped cream, to serve (optional)
Place the egg, oil, milk, orange zest, salt and marmalade in a 300ml mug and whisk with a fork until fully combined. Add the rest of the ingredients and a pinch of salt and combine thoroughly. Microwave uncovered on full power for 1 mins and leave to stand for 2 mins. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream, if you like!
