Easy Gardens

You can handle it!

A woven willow basket planted with spring flowers.

-

This arrangement is created with spring bulbs that have already grown. We’ve chosen Narcissus ‘Tête-à-t•te’, primroses and Violas ‘Honey Bee’ and ‘Yellow Blotch’. For your own variation, it’s best to see what your local garden centre have on offer.

Look around local charity shops and flea markets for suitable baskets which can be lined with clingfilm to prevent leaking. Add soil to the basket so it’s three-quarters full and arrange your flowers with the tallest in the centre and the shorter ones around the outside. With regular deadheading, the arrangement should last for about four weeks.
