Place a deep tray under the hanging globe to catch any drips. Standing on a stepladder if necessary, carefully insert a funnel into the coir lining at the top of the globe and pour water into the funnel to saturate the compost within. Let all excess water drain away before removing the tray. Allow the compost to dry out fully in between waterings; you will be able to tell from the weight of the globe when it needs to be watered again.

Maintenance and care

Display the globe in bright, indirect light, turning it in between waterings to ensure all the plants get plenty of sun. The globe will be heavy, especially after watering, so make sure to hang it from a secure point able to take the full weight of the display when saturated.
