■ Make sure it doesn’t reflect direct sun back, which could scorch plants or be a fire hazard. ■ Don’t put it too high where birds could fly into it.

■ It doesn’t have to go on a bare wall. Surrounding a mirror’s edges with plants will create a magical feel.
