Growing tip

Sprinkle a salad seed mix on top of the soil and cover with 1cm of compost. Water the growing plants with a fine spray so soil is not splashed up on the leaves, and snip a few leaves with kitchen scissors when about 10cm high, allowing a few to grow on. Try not to pull out roots with the leaves accidentally.
