Make a gravel seating area

Building a new deck or patio can be quite a challenge. But we reckon anyone can create a simple gravel seating space. Similar to our gravel pathway on page 76 you will need to prepare the area by digging over and covering it with a layer of weed-resistant membrane. If you want a neat circular area, dig into the ground a little to create a shallow pit to retain the gravel. Then simply fill up.
