Combining lavender and honeysuckle

-

The irresistible scent of honeysuckle is carried on warm summer breezes, and makes a stunning partnership with lavender, while the pretty flowers of both are attractive to bees. ‘Hidcote’ is one of the best dark blue lavenders, while the bushy ‘Imperial Gem’ has more silvery foliage. Arrange plants so they are repeated along the border or plant as a low hedge.

Lavender height and spread 50cm.

Honeysuckle height 6m; spread 1.5m
