How to keep cats at bay

-

Q What are the health risks of eating fruit and veg grown in my garden when neighbourhood cats keep fouling around them? I’ve tried preventive measures (nets, herbal deterrents, and so on), but nothing puts them off. Is it harmful to my plants? A cats can carry parasites that are harmful to humans, so you should certainly avoid eating anything picked straight from the plants. Wash everything thoroughly, especially produce you’ll be eating raw.

other humane preventative measures, such as ultrasonic repellents, are worth a try. Also look at mulching your beds with woodchip to deter animals from fouling. if you can make put up a chicken-wire fence leaning towards the direction from which the cats approach, it will be difficult for them to get over. or erect flimsy fencing which gives no stability for cats to climb. Good luck!
