Shade-loving herbs
In shade, include herbs such as French parsley, chervil, bergamot, chervil, mint and leafy red mustard, mizuna or rocket, ready to pick fresh for summer salads. You could also add violas and chives for their attractive, edible flowers. Harden plants off to get them used to outdoors first.
