Reasonably priced shrubs

I’d like to grow, but I don’t know what shrubs and bushes to use as fillers. A Evergreens will give good year-round background neutral cover, in shades of green and silver/greys. Many will also have flowers, and then autumn fruit. The shrubs you choose will depend on the space you have, aspect and soil type. Smaller plants like heathers will do well on acid soils. Medium-sized plants up to 1m, include Artemisia ‘Powis Castle’ and Pittosporum tenuifolium. For taller plants, try ceanothus or choisya. All shouldn’t be too expensive, depending on the plant’s size.
