Suttons reveals its favourite plants for the coming year. All are easy to grow and will produce fabulously colourful displays

Hydrangea Candybelle Bubblegum (H80cm, £17.99) Admire the candyfloss-like blooms of this show-stopping hydrangea. It produces large umbels of bubblegumpink flowers to contrast with its healthy green foliage. Position in the sun in a moist but well-drained soil.

Begonia Funky Orange (H30cm, £11.99 for 15)

This fun variation of begonia produces voluminous flowers in eye-catching shades of orange to turn your garden into an artistic oasis from June to September. Grown high or low, they’re perfect for hanging baskets and containers.

Suited to both borders and containers, this medium-height plant has midgreen, rounded foliage sitting neatly beneath the flowers. Butterflies and bees will adore this plant, which is hardy down to temperatures of -25C.
