A garden for all seasons
One of the UK’S finest gardens, owned by Chelsea Gold Medallist John Massey in the West Midlands, opens on selected dates for charity. Featured on TV’S Great British Gardens last year, it has been developed for all seasons, and is as exciting at this time of year as any other. Winter colour is provided by hellebores, cyclamen, snowdrops and witch hazels, while summer brings themed areas into focus, such as the stumpery, the ‘ruin’ garden on the patio, the Mediterranean garden and a wildlife meadow.
The garden will be open on 8 February, 14 March, 12 April and further dates in 2020, 10am-4pm (£5, cash only). The 2019 openings raised £40K for The Brain Tumour Charity. ashwoodnurseries.com, tel 01384 401996
