When house plants become top-heavy or roots are appearing through drainage holes, it’s time to re-pot. Choose a pot that’s slightly larger than the previous one. Cover the base with crocks and a layer of fresh compost then pop in the rootball. Fill the gaps with compost and firm in. Soak with water from above and allow to drain.

Place the rootball in the pot below the level of the rim to allow for watering
