Easy Gardens

What to enjoy now

-

As the weather warms up, we are blessed with spectacular spring gardens offering pure escapism. Batsford Arboretum in the Cotswolds is one such place, and is home to some of the world’s most beautiful and rarest trees, shrubs and bamboos.

One of the highlights is the daffodil season, accompanied in late March by the start of the Japanese cherry blossom and displays of 73 different varieties of magnolia. You will find carpets of crocuses and hellebores, followed by swathes of wild garlic and bluebells. The garden near Moreton-in-marsh opens daily, for more info call 01386 701441 or visit batsarb.co.uk
