Formula 1: Drive To Survive – Season 6 (10 episodes, streaming from February 23 exclusively on Netflix)

The 2023 FIA Formula 1 World Championship was a procession for the Red Bull Racing team and driver Max Verstappen, winning almost every single race.

A sixth series of the turbocharged documentary from the makers of Senna is granted unrivalled access to the pit lane, drivers and teams to witness the race for points behind Verstappen.

Previously unseen footage on and off the grid and interviews with key figures provide a unique insider’s view of the high-speed sport.

Mea Culpa (15, 120 mins, streaming from February 23 exclusively on Netflix}

Writer-director Tyler Perry engineers a tense courtroom drama which nods affectionately to erotically charged battles of the sexes from the 1980s and 1990s including Fatal Attraction and Basic Instinct.

Enigmatic artist Zyair Malloy (Trevante Rhodes) cultivates an image as a womaniser when he isn’t producing work out of his Chicago loft.

He is accused of killing his girlfriend and brilliant, strongwilled defence attorney Mea Harper (Kelly Rowland) takes the case, confident she will unearth the truth.

She hires private investigator Jimmy (RonReaco Lee) to gather evidence but dangerous desires threaten to cloud Mea’s judgement.

Meanwhile, an ambitious Assistant District Attorney (Nick Sagar) prosecutes the Malloy case to strengthen his bid to become mayor.

Red Queen (7 episodes, streaming from February 29 exclusively on Prime Video)

Koldo Serra and Julian de Tavira direct a seven-part adaptation of the first book in Juan Gomez-Jurado’s hit trilogy, which lays the foundations of an experimental police project.

At the pinnacle of this covert operation is the so-called Red Queen, Antonia Scott (Vicky Luengo), officially the most intelligent person on Earth with an IQ of 242.

She falls from grace and is deactivated from the program.

Antonia’s fortunes change when hot-headed Basque cop Jon Gutierrez (Hovik Keuchkerian) is ordered to work with her to solve the recent murder of a powerful tycoon’s son and the kidnapping of the daughter of Spain’s wealthiest man.

Against the backdrop of modern-day Madrid, Antonia and Jon learn to tolerate one another as they unravel the case and discover dark forces at work in the capital.
