MSPs recommend standardised colours for bins across Scotland

-

Excellent idea. Put the useless MSPs in bins to recycle them. They can have different colours for each party

Is it April 1st already? Louise Dunn

Sounds like Slater has had a dream and we end up with the nightmare cost

Robert Mcmillan

Nice to see them working on the important issues

Leigh O'neill

Considering how bad waste practices are, it makes total sense to start standardising them for simplicity and efficiency. Should be done without incurring extra costs though i.e. not replacing bins until worn out. Give people a band or a sticker perhaps to indicate any change Shay Amber Davies

More attention please to the state of our pot hole ridden roads, rather than wasting money changing bins unnecessarily

Jan Wagner

You can’t say that Holyrood don’t have their finger on the pulse when it comes to the important issues in Scotland. Many a night I have lain awake worrying about the colours of our bins and the impact this will have on my children’s future

Complete waste of time and money

Katie Louise

Absolute waste of time and money! Our council have recently informed us that they will soon be charging us £35 per year to empty our brown bin (garden waste). And there's me thinking I already paid for this through my council tax. I know it's not a lot of money for a year but… Jimmy McAulay Jnr

Really? Surely money could be spent on more important issues like health, education Pauline Weddell

What for? Leave each council area to their own. Waste of money changing it, and it would only lead to delays in other things getting done. What's the point? Every council website shows what each one is for, and the collection calender
