Caps off to star players with stellar international careers
Eoin Morgan and Gemma Fay are the most capped internationals in major English and Scottish sport.
In addition, he also made 23 ODI appearances for Ireland prior to starting a 14-year England career that was to peak with skippering his adopted country to the World Cup in 2019.
As for Fay, she is the most capped footballer across the men’s and womens’ English and Scottish senior internationals.
The goalkeeper made her debut in 1998 and by the time she hung up her gloves had racked up a stunning 203 appearances.
That’s almost double the amount made by the most capped Scottish men’s international, Kenny Dalglish.
