Loot – Season 2 (10 episodes, starts streaming from April 3 exclusivel­y on Apple TV)

Charity begins at home in the second series of the comedy created by Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard starring Maya Rudolph as filthy rich Molly Novak, who discovered her husband’s infidelity in series one.

Loot premieres two episodes this week and further instalment­s promise impressive dividends on Wednesdays.

Molly’s divorce from tech billionair­e John Novak (Adam Scott) is complete and she devotes her time to philanthro­pic works for the Wells Foundation, flanked by trusty and long-suffering assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster).

Her promise to give away her vast fortune must be honoured, overseen by the foundation’s executive director Sofia Salinas (Michaela Jae Rodriguez).

While Nicholas’s bromance with Howard (Ron Funches) blossoms and Sofia is distracted by Molly’s architect friend Isaac (O-T Fagbenle), the happy divorcee has sworn off any new relationsh­ips with men. Tracker (8 episodes, starts streaming from April 3 exclusivel­y on Disney+)

Jeffrey Deaver’s acclaimed 2019 novel The Never Game, the first in a series of books featuring skilled tracker and survivalis­t Colter Shaw, provides the inspiratio­n for an eight-part action thriller starring Justin Hartley in the title role.

Colter travels the country, helping law enforcemen­t find missing people and solve tricky cases for monetary reward.

Teddi Bruin (Robin Weigert) and her wife Velma (Abby McEnany) manage Colter’s cases from their home in Florida while computer scientist Bob Exley (Eric Graise) provides high-tech support on demand.

A missing teenage boy in rural Oregon provides one potential source of income, presuming Colter can locate the target alive.

When the gung-ho hero falls foul of the law, hotshot lawyer Reenie Greene (Fiona Rene) springs into action to bail him out of trouble.

Academy Award winner Morgan Neville directs a two-part documentar­y portrait of the awardwinni­ng comedian, actor, writer and musician, who is enjoying a new wave of success in his first TV series, Only Murders In

The Building. The first episode entitled Then concentrat­es on Martin’s formative years and his various profession­al triumphs and struggles, culminatin­g in the decision to walk away from stand-up comedy at the age of 35.

Concluding chapter Now explores Martin’s transition into film and TV – his so-called golden years – and the positive impact on his personal life.

As well as Martin, the series boast contributi­ons from costars and friends including Tina Fey, Selena Gomez, Eric Idle, Diane Keaton, Jerry Seinfeld, Martin Short and Finn Wittrock.
