Reds’ reported asking price for Salah as Toney could head to the Hammers

Today’s 3AM round-up of the Premier League’s transfer rumours has an update on Newcastle United midfielder

- Charlie Bennett

Today’s round-up of the latest Premier League rumours starts at Liverpool, who will accept £100m for Mo Salah this summer according to reports.

Saudi Pro League chief Michael Emenalo revealed last summer that the Egyptian was a top target following a failed bid – but Jurgen Klopp’s exit could now reignite a move.

“Mo Salah, like (Lionel) Messi, (Karim) Benzema, (Cristiano) Ronaldo and the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, these are players that, when there is a sense of availability for them, we are willing to listen,” he said at the time.

The 3AM Verdict: This may be a controversial take but Salah is a fading force. Sell up, take the £100m and reinvest into the post-Klopp era.

Ivan Toney is more likely to join West Ham United than Arsenal, according to talkSPORT.

Reports have linked the 28-year-old with a Brentford exit all season, but just four goals from 13 Premier League games since returning from a betting suspension have hardly set the world alight.

Arsenal need a striker and Toney, who has just over a year left on his contract, was viewed as an option – but the Hammers are named as his most likely destination.

The 3AM Verdict: Toney to West Ham makes a lot of sense. Jarrod Bowen has spent most of the campaign up front and, while he continues to excel, the Irons need a natural striker.

The Telegraph are reporting that Bruno Guimaraes has bought a £4m home in Northumberland - the biggest hint yet about where his future lies.

The 26-year-old has been a revelation since joining Newcastle United from Lyon two years ago. A contract extension in October did little to quash transfer talk as a £100m release clause is understood to be part of the deal.

The 3AM Verdict: Newcastle fans will take every bit of positive news they can get regarding Guimaraes’ future. The form table looks rosy and, should that continue, he will likely be going nowhere – unless Manchester City or PSG stump up £100m…
