Veteran prop Jamie Fields was sent-off, for alleged punching, 20 minutes into Premier Division leaders Hunslet ARLFC’s 26-12 home win against Heworth.

Josh McLelland crossed twice and Elliot Morgan, George Clarke and Craig McShane were Hunslet’s other try scorers. Jordan Gale landed three goals as the south Leeds side extended their unbeaten start to the season to seven games.

Stanningley were beaten 38-18 at Wigan St Patricks in Division One. Luke Townend bagged a brace for tries for the visitors with Keenan Dyer-Dixon also touching down. Ryan Taylor booted two conversions and a penalty.
