Fancy a pair of sunglasses loved by Beyonce or worn by Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible? Check out new website Solbou, created by former Norfolk schoolboy Thomas Dore.
Uninspired by the choice of eyewear available, freelance video editor Thomas, who grew up in Ludham, set up his own online company selling sunglasses from handpicked independent labels and designers from around the world. Brands include British label Taylor Morris; the cool and bold Sunday Somewhere, based in Sydney; Han Kjøbenhavn from Copenhagen, inspired by classic American shapes of the 1950s and 1960s, and Italianbased L.G.R, whose sunglasses often appear in Hollywood movies.
We love these Sunday Somewhere Yetti in Pearl glasses, £185, favoured by Beyonce – perfect whatever the season. Solbou offers free delivery and returns to the UK, so customers can enjoy a “try at home” service; www.solbou.com We love the new range of Panama Jack boots which not only look great but are certain to keep feet warm and dry.
Now available at The Tannery, they come in black leather (£169) or taupe nubuck (£135). Add a new scarf to your outdoor look and you will be ready to go. The Tannery’s range of silk scarves add a splash of warm colour while keeping out the chill, such as this feather crinkled silk scarf, £35.
