Glenn Tubby, executive director of Great Yarmouth Racecourse
The racecourse at Newmarket - known as the home of racing and where the “sport of kings” was born - celebrates its 350th anniversary this year. As well as its many racing events through the summer, the racecourse hosts a series of live music events in its Newmarket Nights programme, which this year features The Corrs on June 17; Will Young, June 24; Kaiser Chiefs, July 15; Busted, July 22; Tears for Fears, July 29; Jess Glynne, August 12, and Little Mix, August 27. What are some of the highlights to look forward to over the rest of the year? What would you say to someone who hasn’t been to the races before, to persuade them to come along?
