Get kitted out in time for Christmas with ideas from our Canaries Official fashion shoot - with Norwich City’s MATT JARVIS modelling the new season’s styles
HE may be more at home on the pitch at Carrow Road than the fashion catwalk, but Norwich City’s Matt Jarvis was a fabulous model for this month’s menswear shoot, sponsored by Canaries Official.
Matt looked great in range of casual winter clothing and had fun discovering the styling work and preparation that goes into a fashion shoot. The 30-year-old footballer has been with Norwich on a permanent basis since January, having previously been on loan from West Ham United. He started his career with Gillingham, and played 122 matches before signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2007. He played at Molineux for five years, then moved to West Ham in 2012.
Matt had first call-up to play for the England in 2011, making his debut in a friendly against Ghana at Wembley Stadium.
The Canaries Official stores are great places to visit for ideas for festive gifts – not just for the men in your life, but also for women and children, with a wide range of clothing and accessories, as well as tickets and vouchers, that would make ideal presents for any Norwich City fan.
Daisy Simpson, community engagement manager with the Canaries, says of the clothing ranges: “We were trying to keep the products simple and minimalistic, and create products that can be worn in the stadium and away from the stadium. We have focused heavily on a black/grey palette as historically we have done very well with these colours.
“To add a point of difference, for the first time on some of the products, we have enlarged the badge which has proven to be popular. In many of the other pieces, we have looked at adding metal tags, neck labelling and a Canary on the ball badge, all adding special and subtle detailing to our lines.” The clothes and accessories featured in the shoot - plus much more - are available from all three Canaries Official stores in Norwich and also online at shop.canaries.co.uk
