What must-have essentials do you keep in your bag? We asked DONNA BEIGI, owner of the Norwich Cosmetic Clinic, to share her handbag secrets
Handbag secrets from cosmetic clinic owner Donna Beigi
AFTER WORKING as a medical secretary at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, Donna Beigi embarked on a major change of career in the cosmetic industry.
She met her husband, Bijan Beigi, a consultant surgeon and specialist in cosmetic surgery, while working at the hospital and it inspired her to retrain in skincare treatment.
Together they opened the Norwich Cosmetic Clinic, proving a wide range of non-surgical and surgical cosmetic procedures and creating their own specialist skincare and make-up range. It also specialises in mole and lesion removal, treatment for excessive sweating, migraines and acne.
“We want to help people look after their skin, boost their confidence and address any issues they might have,” says Donna, who is manager and clinical director.
“When I had my children, I developed really bad acne on my face and neck and I found it really affected me. Having skin problems, however big or small, can hugely impact on your self-esteem and can be distressing. If we can help solve a long-term acne problem or stop someone’s flushing and facial redness, it is incredibly rewarding.”
Donna, who has nine-year-old twin boys, admits to being a bag and shoe fanatic – with something for every occasion.
“At the moment my black Chanel quilted lamb’s leather bag is my absolute favourite. Not only is it a beautiful bag, it is big enough to hold all my stuff and has lots of different sections so I know where everything is.”
