The countdown to this year’s EDP Norfolk magazine Food and Drink awards has begun. The awards celebrate the very best of the county’s food and drink producers, restaurants, pubs, cafes and local food heroes.
Sponsors and supporters of the awards, now in their 18th year, met for a breakfast launch at Brasted’s Restaurant in Framingham Pigot.
Former EDP Norfolk editor Angi Kennedy thanked everyone for their help and support in making the 2016 awards such a resounding success, and new editor Dominic Castle reaffirmed the magazine’s commitment to driving the competition on to ever higher levels.
Nick Mills, Brasted’s managing director, spoke about the huge positive impact the awards have for everyone who takes part and how the event has become a key part of the social year.
The official launch happens in April but already sponsors are snapping up the opportunity to become involved in one of the biggest dates on the county food and drink calendar.
