Fam­ily tick­ets for the East Anglian Game & Coun­try Fair at Eus­ton on of­fer

THE EAST Anglian Game & Coun­try Fair will take place on the week­end of April 22 and 23, 2017, at the beau­ti­ful venue of Eus­ton Es­tate, just off the A11 at Thet­ford, by kind per­mis­sion of The Duke and Duchess of Grafton. And this month we are giv­ing read­ers the chance to win one of 15 fam­ily tick­ets so you can en­joy all the fair has to of­fer.

A num­ber of new eques­trian at­trac­tions are con­firmed this year in­clud­ing The Mounted Games As­so­ci­a­tion of Great Bri­tain, who will be hold­ing the most ex­cit­ing and ex­hil­a­rat­ing dis­play com­pe­ti­tions in the main arena. Mem­bers of the au­di­ence are in­vited to sup­port their lo­cal team as points are awarded for each game, giv­ing a com­pet­i­tive edge to the en­ter­tain­ment. Vis­i­tors will also get the chance to see the ex­cit­ing, fast and skill­ful Bri­tish Scurry and Tri­als Driv­ing Cham­pi­onships. Au­di­ence par­tic­i­pa­tion is en­cour­aged to spur on the com­peti­tors and pro­vides great en­ter­tain­ment for all the fam­ily.

The fair isn’t just about horses how­ever, with demon­stra­tions from the Mid-Nor­folk Gun­dog Club, as well as Ye Olde Red­tail Fal­conry dis­plays and Fen­land Bushcraft and sur­vival demon­stra­tions. The Forestry Vil­lage will be host­ing The East of Eng­land Cut­ters and Climbers Com­pe­ti­tion and the arena will be a buzz of ac­tiv­ity with chain­saw carv­ings and felling demon­stra­tions.

The Game Fair Coun­try Kitchen also has a great new line-up with a va­ri­ety of cook­ery work­shops and demon­stra­tions tak­ing place over the week­end from a se­lec­tion of lo­cal chefs, in­clud­ing celebrity chef Chris Coubrough, Arthur How­ell, James Con­way, Andy Snowl­ing, Justin Kett, Rachel Green, plus many more.
