NOR­FOLK SPRING FLING

A fun-filled, ed­u­ca­tional day for learn­ing more about food, farm­ing and the coun­try­side, rec­om­mended for four to 11-year-olds. The Spring Fling will take place at the Nor­folk Show­ground. There will be lots to see and do, with over 70 in­ter­ac­tive stands and a va­ri­ety of an­i­mals in­clud­ing cows, goats, owls, ponies and of course the danc­ing sheep in The Sheep Show! You will be able to take a jour­ney around the Show­ground on our trac­tor and trailer rides and visit the Coun­try­side Area to watch sheep dog demon­stra­tions, sit on a vin­tage trac­tor and see birds of prey. www.springflin­g.rnaa.org.uk

TER­RIFIC TUES­DAYS

Join the team at Blak­eney Na­tional Na­ture Re­serve for a day of 50 things to do on the Nor­folk coast. Learn how to catch a crab, bor­row some binoc­u­lars to check out the birdlife, go bug hunt­ing, ex­plore the grass­land at Fri­ary Hills and more. Grab your scrap­book and col­lect your stick­ers and stamps. Book­ing not needed. Chil­dren wel­come with an ac­com­pa­ny­ing adult. Gates 10am – 4pm. Free En­try. Meet on Blak­eney Quay, NR25 7NE.
