SPRING IS the perfect time to enjoy a few days away, and this month’s fashion shoot, sponsored by department store Bakers & Larners of Holt, showcases some fantastic new looks for the season ahead which will take you from day to night, whatever the weather.

“This season we have looked at refining our collections and introducing more contemporary styles,” says Sharron Jiggins, ladieswear manager. “Our collections offer an eclectic mix of prints and versatile styles. Most of our ranges are inspired by travels and exploration of the world.”

She says the store has some exciting new ranges now available in the ladieswear fashion department.

“Bianca and Soya Concept Clothing and Skechers and Caprice footwear will all add a strong fashion imprint to our shop floor.

“Looks for this season consist of artistic and classical stripes which bring a minimalist touch, along with styles that are softer on design and fluid in structure, such as romantic florals. And the spring/summer collection palette is a beautiful fusion of tones of blues, apricot, pinks and mint.”

The menswear collection also brings together a broad mix of labels – from traditional men’s tailoring to a more casual look. Colin McCarthy, menswear manager, says: “The new softer, natural fabrics incorporating wool and linen bring casual comfort to our jacket and waistcoat combinations. Paired with jeans or casual trousers you will be dressed perfectly for summer days and evenings.

“Fine clothes from Brook Taverner, Skopes, Farah and Weird Fish bring casual style to our range with natural and pastel shades of colour giving a subtle vibrancy to your wardrobe. To finish off the look we have classic and unique style shoes from Barker, Chatham, John White and Steptronic.”

The Norfolk Broads proved the perfect backdrop, with The Wroxham, on the banks of the river in the town, and the Norfolk Yacht Agency, in Brundall, both excellent locations showcasing the beauty of the waterways and why it is a perfect mini-break destination.
