Spring is here and it’s time for a new take on some favourite spaces. Let Paula Gundry and her team of interior designers provide inspiration for your home

THE well located and accessible first floor showroom on Norwich’s bustling Westlegate is a stylish collection of classic and contemporary furniture, fabrics, lighting and home accessories.

But the Paula Gundry Interiors product reach is global - and much of it is exclusive to Paula in East Anglia.

“Our beautiful products are not available in the high street stores,” Paula explains. “Our extensive showroom gives just a flavour of some of the stock that we can access and have in stock - for example, Sanderson cushions, Mulberry throws and candles. Julian Chichester dining tables, John Sankey sofas and chairs sitting along site Gallotti & Radice coffee tables and lighting. “The team assist customers with advice and have made beautiful curtains and blinds often co-ordinating with some of the many ranges of wallpapers such as Cole and Son Elitis, Sanderson, Romo, Thibault, Anna French and Pierre Frey to name but a few.”

Meanwhile, a core team of designers, supported by consultants and trusted contractors working across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, are able to advise on residential and commercial projects - from one room to a whole building - starting with a personal “Inspiration Visit”, from as little as £120.

“Interior design does not have to be an expensive outlay, we offer the Inspiration Visit as the first step to the design process,” says Paula. “We visit the home and get a feel for the client and their home, and what they like.”

Cost estimates are provided from the start in a totally transparent and personalised budget.

“We help clients to develop ideas and introduce some that they may not have considered,” says Paula. “We listen to what our clients want and then come up with fresh and exciting ideas from a simple refurb or a complete makeover.

“Spring is such an exciting time of year for home owners and designers alike.

“I firmly believe that it’s an interior designer’s job to help our clients achieve what they want, not to force an opinion on them. We take a friendly and straight forward approach to design, and are able to source many stunning and interesting pieces.”

Paula also urges potential clients to visit her website for a better idea of design with images of previous projects completed by the team at www.paulagundryinteri

“We have a huge range of experience in the team, from the friendly faces in the showroom to the team members working in residential and commercial design,” says Paula. “We’re a very friendly yet experienced and knowledgable team - and we genuinely care, which is what sets us apart from many other companies.”
