A new group to support people in west Norfolk with tinnitus has been formed. Almost 13,000 adults in the King’s Lynn and west Norfolk district experience tinnitus, and for 10% of them - that’s around 1,300 people – it will have a serious impact on their quality of life, says the British Tinnitus Association.

The group is being facilitated by Anna Pugh, hearing therapist audiologist from the Hearing Care Partnership. Anna says: “I’m hoping that the group will bring local people together to share coping tips and ideas with people who understand and will listen. It’s important to let people know that they don’t have to deal with their tinnitus on their own.”
