Hear music from films and shows performed by an all-women orchestra and choir, raising money to fight breast cancer.
Believed to be Norfolk’s first ever all-female orchestra and choir concert, the 180 women will perform music from films and shows including Mamma Mia, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Phantom of the Opera, Jurassic Park and The Lord of the Rings. The concert in St Andrew’s Hall is in partnership with Cancer Research UK and all proceeds will go towards fighting breast cancer. The singers come from choirs including Norwich Philharmonic Choir, The Military Wives Choir and East Norfolk Operatic Society. The orchestra is made up of musicians from across the county and the concert is conducted by Margery Baker. Tickets for the 3pm concert are £13 and £10 from St George’s Music Shop, Norwich, or ticketsource.co.uk/ women
