EDP Norfolk - - Eat Norfolk Food & Drink Awards -

“Bullards is a name that is synonymous with the brewing heritage of Norwich which began at the Anchor Brewery in 1837. We were delighted to be able to resurrect the brand across a range of cask craft beers in 2015 and then start producing hand-crafted Gins at the first Gin Distillery in Norwich for over 150 years in 2016. We were awarded best UK Microdistillery 2016 and 2017 and best London Dry Gin in the World 2017.

“As Bullards is a brand that is over 180 years old we are very fortunate to have an amazing history and story to tell regarding our brewing heritage. However when it comes to gin we are a relative newcomer to the sector so understand the challenges and excitement of starting the journey to success. We are keen to see what what new initiatives are being developed locally, share experiences and hopefully help entrants achieve their goals.

“As Bullards is firmly rooted in the history of Norfolk it has been our intention to create relationships with other great Norfolk institutions. We have just signed a three-year deal to be Norwich City Football Club’s official gin partner, we will be attending the Royal Norfolk Show with a Bullards Gin Bar, are proud to be an EDP ‘Future 50’ company and sponsoring Best Newcomer in Eat Norfolk Food and Drink awards seemed to fit in well with all these initiatives.”
