Dead­head lupins as soon as the flow­ers fade to en­cour­age more blooms.

If not al­ready done green­houses should be shaded to pre­vent plants be­com­ing stressed with the in­tense light and high tem­per­a­tures in sum­mer.

Lift and di­vide and re­plant any large con­gested clumps of bulbs as their leaves yel­low; this will keep them bloom­ing well next year.

Cut back to the ground the faded flower stems of Del­phini­ums to en­sure a sec­ond flow­er­ing in late sum­mer.
