As she prepares to host the 10th world music festival at her Norfolk home, Anna Mudeka reveals her current cultural obsessions
Award-winning musician, performer and charity founder Anna Mudeka grew up in Zimbabwe and this month she will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the hugely popular music festival she runs from her family home near Dereham, bringing artists from around the globe to rural Norfolk. Southburgh Festival of World Music brings together top musicians, story telling, dance, food and crafts for the whole family and this year will very much focus on Zimbabwean spirit.
The festival raises funds for The Mudeka Foundation, the charity she founded to help orphaned and disadvantaged children in Zimbabwe through education. Here she shares her top seven cultural picks which relax, inspire and entertain her.
