Contemporary rural living
The last few weeks the Home Stagers team and I have been exceptionally busy working on a wide variety of unusual and exciting properties! We have just completed a large five bedroom new build show house on a really interesting site which features a mix of historical religious and industrial buildings! Also, an exciting one bedroom industrial warehouse apartment in London with fabulous original Crittal windows, and high architectural ceilings. Lisa and Laura designed and styled the interiors, incorporating some quirky vintage industrial elements and the biggest clock we have ever seen, thank goodness it made it up the stairs! We all loved the delightful Victorian cottage at Thornham with a stunning sea views, which we designed using an updated palette of Farrow and Ball paint colours, styled with a rustic coastal living style, which perfectly reflects the North Norfolk style.
Therefore, it was very hard to decide which of our projects to show case this month! However, we have just finished show house in the most amazing farm building conversion in Essex! This property is unusual in that it is a modern farm building rather than a historical barn, this left the developer clear to create a very clean lined and contemporary finish. The property is situated on the edge of a small village with some of the most spectacular rural views I have ever seen! Our brief was to embrace the contemporary architectural style and introduce a little bit of Essex style...which is always fun!! We used beautiful teal velvet sofas from our collection to inject a jewel like pop of colour in the huge open plan living space. We studded the vast double height vertical wall behind the dining table with five identical star mirrors to create a show stopping vista! Three of our projects in the last month received full asking price offers on the launch day! Please contact us for more information on our show house services.
