CHAR­LIE LANDS NEW ROLE

A 16-year-old school­boy from Nor­wich is among the first group of 25 teenagers to take up their places at a new, full-time drama school in Lon­don owned by pop­u­lar TV star Pauline Quirke.

Char­lie Dade, who was a stu­dent at Helles­don High School un­til this sum­mer, has started a two-year Diploma in Per­form­ing Arts at The Pauline Quirke Academy of Per­form­ing Arts at the PQA Stu­dios Lon­don in Is­ling­ton. Ac­tor Pauline Quirke, who is best known for her role as Sharon in the hit BBC sit­com Birds of a Feather, is the brains be­hind PQA Stu­dios Lon­don, a new full­time drama school. Char­lie wowed in­dus­try judges at au­di­tions to se­cure a place on the two-year Diploma course, at the end of which she will be awarded a Diploma in Per­form­ing Arts. pqas­tu­dios.com
