Fatsia polycarpa ‘Greenfingers’
This interesting Fatsia is newly introduced from Taiwan and, as the name would suggest, its leaves are more finger like than the traditional Fatsia giving it a different tropical look. Despite its tender looks ‘Green Fingers’ seems to be tolerant of frost conditions and is reputedly hardy to around -10C. It can grow to around 2m in the garden but responds well to pruning, making it a good subject for containers as well as a shady or a part-shaded border.
