Clock is ticking towards nominations deadline
Entries are piling in for our food and drink awards
The search for the best in Norfolk food and drink has got off to a flying start. Already hundreds of entries have been received for our 2019 Eat Norfolk Food & Drink Awards, sponsored by the East of England Co-op.
We aim to recognise the amazing array of talent and skill right across the county and select the cream of the crop for our stellar celebration and awards night on Monday, September 9 at OPEN, Norwich, when all the winners will be revealed.
It’s not too late to get involved by nominating your favourite food and drink superstar and if you’re in the business you are welcome to put yourself forward. Don’t be modest!
Maybe you’ve visited
an amazing restaurant, or uncovered a brilliant baker or taken the family out to a dinner to die for. If you have a look at the categories there’s bound to be something that reflects the great experiences you’ve had in Norfolk.
Once all the nominations are in, our panel of expert and independent judges will begin the tough task of seeking out those outstanding entries and selecting the ones who have really made a difference or gone that extra yard. The deadline is June 9 but don’t delay; visit our website and fill in the easy form.
Of course none of this would happen without the fantastic support of our sponsors who have come forward to champion the awards.
We’re very pleased to welcome Richard Hughes Cookery School back as sponsors of the Home Chef of the Year award, a fantastic opportunity for all you talented amateur chefs out there to step forward and show what you can do!
And Norwich Research Park, with strong links to food and farming, has joined us to sponsor the Pride of Norfolk Award, always a popular category with a wide range of entrants.
We are also delighted to have Victoria Marquees join the awards as the sponsor of the table brochure on the gala evening and Prosper Recruitment as sponsor of the end-of-night winners’ brochure.
