EDP Norfolk - - FOOD BITES - Richard Hughes Director

Sponsored by Richard Hughes Cookery School

This category is open to amateur cooks who live in the county of Norfolk. In your entry please include the title of your chosen main course and dessert along with the recipe for both. The judges would also like to see a brief resume and to know why you chose your menu, what it means to you and who you usually cook it for. The judges will be looking for a meal which showcases local produce. Those who are selected for the next stage in the judging process will be invited to a cook-off where they will cook four portions of their menu for a panel of professional judges. This category will remain open for entries until July 26; the judges will choose the successful applicants to take part in the cook-off on August 11. Entrants cannot be employed in a professional kitchen, or hold any professional cooking qualifications or be employed by the Assembly House, Norwich, any associated businesses or Archant Ltd.

“The Richard Hughes Cookery School is delighted to return in 2019 to celebrate home cooking and give credit to the people who do the hardest job of all: feeding their families and friends! This category is a huge ‘thank you’ to them all from Norfolk’s top cookery school.”
