EDP Norfolk - - GARDEN GUIDE -

Thin out any overcrowded seedlings sown directly in the ground; well-spaced plants will be healthier and produce more flowers.

Now they have finished flowering, remove any dead, damaged or overcrowded stems from evergreen clematis to keep them healthy and tidy.

When the leaves of garlic and onions start to turn yellow and die back they are ready to harvest.

Check fruit trees to see if thinning is needed. This will reduce the chance of broken branches and help remaining fruit to grow larger.
