Exclusive new development offers room to enjoy
There are all sorts of factors that people look for when they are buying a new home: the location, of course, but also things like energy-efficiency, the design of the home and whether it will be part of a vibrant community.
One of the key considerations for many people is space: interior space to accommodate the way families live today and exterior space providing room to relax, entertain and enjoy. Space is in plentiful supply at Abel Homes’ latest development ‘Five’ – an exclusive collection of just five new homes on a two acre site in Gressenhall, near Dereham. Three four-bedroom houses and two four-bedroom bungalows are being built on the site, with each new home standing in unusually large plots, all benefitting from double garages.
Designed by Norwich-based architects David Futter Associates, the new homes have a traditional design to fit in with the existing village environment – but they will boast the latest energy-efficient features such as air source heat pumps, underfloor
heating, solar photovoltaic panels and triple glazing, as well as superfast fibre broadband to the premises.
At a recent ceremony to ‘top out’ the first of the new homes, Abel Homes managing director Paul LeGrice said, “This is a small-scale development; by building just five homes on the site, each one will stand in a substantial plot, enjoying space around them”.
“We have worked hard to create a design of home which fits in with the village nature of the site; however, the interiors have been designed with modern family living very much in mind.”
The first two of the new homes – a four-bedroom house priced at £550,000 and a four-bedroom bungalow priced at £545,000 – have just been released for sale. The properties currently enable buyers to individualise their homes with specific finishes and individual touches.
