Your teeth deserve the very best, so now’s the time to make the trip you’ve been putting off
We all know that a clean and healthy mouth can help improve your appearance, confidence and wellbeing, so why don’t we all see a hygienist regularly? Maybe booking an appointment is low on your to-do list or fitting it around your busy schedule has put you off?
With direct access rules, you can visit a hygienist without first having to see a dentist and Riverside Dental in Norwich offers early morning, late night and Saturday appointments and has an easy-to-use online booking system.
The award-winning private practice has opened a new dedicated hygienist surgery and from this summer, will offer a bespoke hygienist service called Shine, allowing patients to tailor a trip to their needs.
Dr Bim Sawhney, who was an official dentist at the London 2012 Olympic Games, explains: “Patients might have a wedding or important event coming up, so we can focus on just the cosmetic zone, or offer AIRFLOW® stain removal for smokers or tea and coffee lovers.”
The service also offers the option to book longer appointments for more targeted treatments.
Bim works alongside his friendly, ethical and highly knowledgeable team, offering
a full range of services including adult orthodontics (Invisalign, Cfast), tooth whitening and smile makeovers in the modern, immaculate and welcoming practice.
Did you know?
Dr Bim Sawhney answers some common questions about our teeth.
Why do I need to see a hygienist?
A hygienist will give your teeth a really good clean, reaching the places you can’t - like under the gums. They’ll also give tailored advice on preventing long-term damage.
How often should I see a hygienist?
It depends on the circumstances, but generally every six months. You can visit the hygienist without going to the dentist first, although regular check-ups with your dentist are highly-recommended.
Is joining a dental plan a good idea?
Yes, definitely! Dental plans are a good way of budgeting for your regular checkup and hygiene appointments. Patients find our plans affordable, and they benefit from 10% off all treatments.
