A EAST ANGLIAN TRADITIONAL ESTABLISHMENT GETS A SIGNATURE LOOK

EDP Norfolk - - FOOD BITES -

This beautiful 17th century building has been sensitively refurbished from the ground upwards having been left to the elements for nine long years. The interior is very Dickensian with a leather bound library, oil paintings and exposed beams. The furniture is dark oak and so robust giving a cozy feeling with roaring open fires and enticing log burners in the Winter. To the rear of the pub is a bright sunlit room leading onto a delightful terrace with tables and seating overlooking gardens and a children’s play area ideal for the hot Summer days. The ales are local, the wines from award-winning independent wine merchant Lea & Sandeman. The chef’s menu concentrates on healthy eating but includes pub classics such as steaks, pies and fresh Brancaster mackerel as well as embracing the ‘vegan’ movement that is sweeping the globe! Children are particularly well looked after with fun vegetable options. Huge parking area and doggies welcome.
