Neptune’s ball for Star Throwers
Neptune’s Ball at Barnham Broom Hotel drew 140 people to celebrate the 10th anniversary of local cancer support charity Star Throwers. The evening was a brilliant success and raised £7,744.33.
Star Throwers was founded by Dr Henry Mannings in 2009 in order to support local people during a cancer diagnosis and beyond. Since then the charity has supported over 2,000 patients and carers with one-to-one information sessions, lymphoedema support, complementary therapy sessions, counselling sessions, group workshops and nutrition talks.
All services offered by the charity are completely free of charge and offered from their cancer support centre based in Wymondham.
