Nor­wich Science Fes­ti­val has un­veiled TV pre­sen­ter and wildlife bi­ol­o­gist Lizzie Daly as its new pa­tron. Lizzie’s ex­per­tise and cu­rios­ity for the nat­u­ral world has taken her around the globe, con­duct­ing re­search and mak­ing wildlife films and she has worked as a pre­sen­ter on Blue Planet Live Lessons, CBee­bies, CBBC, Na­tional Geo­graphic, BBC Two, An­i­mal Planet and is a host on the BBC Earth Un­plugged YouTube chan­nel. She is an ambassador for the Ma­rine Con­ser­va­tion So­ci­ety and the Jane Goodall In­sti­tute UK.

Lizzie said: “It is a real hon­our to be­come a pa­tron of Nor­wich Science Fes­ti­val.

“This will be my third year at NSF and I al­ways look for­ward to see­ing how it en­gages the younger gen­er­a­tion by cel­e­brat­ing the won­der of the nat­u­ral world around them.”
