Bride: The Wedding Show returns to The Norfolk Showground on February 22 and 23

Preview of the most exciting wedding show of the year; Bride - The Wedding Show

Bride: The Wedding Show, in association with the Eastern Daily Press and sponsored by Bullens Jewellers, is back for its 11th year to lend an expert helping hand to engaged couples.

Whether this is the first step of starting your wedding planning journey or you’re searching for the finishing touches, around 150 exhibitors from across Norfolk and Suffolk will be there to discuss their products and services and offer advice to make your dream wedding a reality.

Visitors will be welcomed by the Kavolini String Quartet and the first 100 brides through the doors on each day receive goody bags containing treats from exhibitors. Bullens Jewellers, 2020 sponsors of the biggest two-day wedding show in the region, will showcase sparkling collections of wedding bands and wedding day jewellery.

Michele Whittam of Bullens, says: “We are very proud to put our name forward to such an exciting and professional show, which promises to deliver expert advice, stunning ideas and unlimited inspiration – it is a real honour to be the 2020 sponsors.

“We have exhibited at many local wedding events over the past 20 years, however, the Archant Bride show is by far the biggest and brings so many of the best local wedding suppliers together for two days.”

Couples attending can get a head start on wedding plans by talking to the cream of wedding professionals face to face, all under one roof. During the two-day event, many suppliers offer savings, prizes and exclusive show promotions on their products and services.

Returning exhibitor Richard Jarmy, of Richard Jarmy

Photography, said: “The show is wonderful. I have found more couples are looking for fun, natural photography, which captures their personality – long gone are the posed photographs. My top tip for couples looking for their photographer during the weekend is to make sure you like their work and build a strong rapport with them, so you feel relaxed with them on your big day.”

Make-up artist Stephanie Alexandra said: “The 2019 show was my first time at the event and I am back for 2020. This show is the perfect place for all brides and grooms to start wedding planning.”

The highlight for many visitors is the sensational choreographed catwalk, which takes place four times daily: at 11am, 12.15pm, 1.30pm and 2.45pm.

Between catwalk shows and exploring the exhibitors, guests can enjoy a glass of fizz in the central champagne bar or indulge themselves in the banqueting area by Brasteds catering, decorated by The Banqueting Hire Service.

This year, Bride: The Wedding Show hosts a best stand competition – so keep a look out and vote for your favourite.

Before you say goodbye, don’t forget to pick up free copies of Norfolk Bride and Suffolk Bride magazines, as well as the Marry In Norfolk ceremony guide, so you can continue your wedding planning from the comfort of your home.

The Bride team looks forward to welcoming you to the show.
